On 2nd October 2012, Youth Conference was held in Senate Hall,IIUM. The concept for the conference was roundtable discussion, where all participants got their chances to arise questions. The speaker invited for this conference was Mr Wadah Khanfar, a respectable thinker from Al-Jazeera.
Issues discussed were:
1. Social awakening in the Muslim World
2. Education system
3. Tackling poverty and economic mismanagement
4. Tackling the negative stereotype
5. Personal experience as the former general director of Al-Jazeera network
6. Strengthen Muslim voice in the media
7. Media manipulation of mass view
